Visitors to the Mattawa area enjoy a massive network of groomed trails including the world-class VMUTS (Voyageur Multi-Use Trail System), and guests of Mattawa River Resort also have access to our private trails. Locally, the Near North Trail Association maintains over 1900 kilometers of groomed trails for its members, including some within the RAP (Round Algonquin Park), RAN (Ride Around Nipissing) tours, and the new 234-km Explorers Snow Tour.
